The Government has rejected a proposal by the Australasian Podiatry Council to substantially reduce the diabetes-related amputation rate by increasing Medicare-subsidised podiatry appointments. Australasian Podiatry Council President, Andrew Schox says it’s a deeply disappointing decision.
