Skechers Settle with FTC for $40 million

Skechers have just setteled for $40 million with the Federal Trade Commission over the advertising claims that they made for their Shape-Up toning shoes. In a statement Skechers denied any wrongdoing and stood by their product but decided to settle to a void a protracted process. Skechers, in their advertising, claimed that their shoes will help people lose weight, build muscle and get them in shape
