I see in the Journal of the American Medical Association there is a paper by someone called ‘Barack Obama, JD’ and lists his author affiliation as ‘President of the United States, Washington, DC ” I think it pretty cool that a sitting President has such a scholarly publication. I do not recall a previous President doing that (I stand to be corrected on that) Also great coup by JAMA to get this! Research design and methods 99 participants with type 2 diabetes were recruited into this cross-sectional study. The presence of peripheral sensory neuropathy was determined with standard clinical tests and cardiac autonomic function was assessed with heart rate variation testing. Continue reading
