Heel pain

I have had a lifetime of forefoot problems but now have suddenly developed heel pain. First thing you think off is plantar fasciitis but I am not sure it is that as my symptoms do not fit particularly with the characteristics of that. It started suddenly at 9pm one night, seems to be there in varying degrees all the time, even if I am not weightbearing, and the first step I take on it after getting up isn’t the worst, it takes 3 or 4 steps before it really hurts. A patent has just been granted for this: HEALTH ORTHOSIS FOR FOOT Quote: A foot health orthosis to be fitted with a toe includes a flexible ring-like retainer which can be fitted with the toe, and a cushion portion formed on a part of the retainer, which is thicker than the retainer and allowed to be held on a reverse surface of the toe in the fitted state.
