Hi all, new to the forum. I am experiencing pain on my outer hip around where the bursa is and I went to the Doctor and he said it was not gout, but did not take a sample of fluid, he only took an x-ray. I explained that I did some very heavy lifting on Saturday (pain started around monday night to tuesday) that I don’t normally do and I ride a bike and did some hill climbs. Continue reading →

I was diagnosed with gout in December, although it looks like I may have been suffering with it for a few years before this even though test for uric acid levels were showing normal. Now the pain in my right heel is really getting to me and is affecting the way I live.
