I had a bad fall at home and fractured my toe it was a blood fracture, I was shocked to find I had done this I was operated on and it was washed the nail removed they put a metal/foil piece on where nail used to be this was the 23rd of April this all took place. Now I have had stitches out only 4 and have the Fracture Clinic again this week I now find myself rather concerned as I am still in quite a bit of pain and still off work, reading other comments it seems this is going to be painfully for quite a while am I being silly or do I just have to be patient?? I can’t put weight on foot a tall get up stairs for toilet etc with crutches but apart from that I haven’t even ventured outside my confidence has really gone with this injury never broke anything in my 47 yrs am I expectecting too much to soon?
