after getting the cast off of my ankle

A month ago I had an incident while playing volleyball and I accidentally jumped and fell on my ankle while it was twisted.. when I went to the hospital after extreme pain, they told me that they can’t do anything until the swelling decreases because my ankle looked as if it would explode anyminute of gow swollen it got.
