Allopurinol side effects????

I’ve been taking allopurinol (200 mg) and 1 cholchicine (.06 mg) daily for the past 7 days but I am having killer headaches – bring-you-to-your-knees headaches!! I know headaches are a side effect of allopurinol but I didn’t expect anything like this.
