Base 5th Met Fracture – non-healing common?

I broke the base of my 5th met on Oct 31, 2010, in two places. One fracture is gapped (I don’t think the word is displaced but I know it’s a similar word) 4 mm, and runs the same direction as the bone, with the wide end of the gap at the base of the bump. The other fracture starts right near where the other one is gapped, and runs at a slight angle up towards the 4th met.
