It’s difficult to keep up with the extraordinary events that appear to be gathering momentum all over the world – floods in Queensland, earthquakes in Christchurch, unstable economies and financial markets and the astounding uprisings throughout the Middle East and North Africa – the last makes the fall of the Berlin Wall seem almost inconsequential. Interesting times. Perhaps the Mayans were on the money after all
