Hi For those who are unfamiliar, there has been a frustrating and protracted impasse within national Canadian podiatric politics/legislation which pits those with DPM vs non DPM backgrounds in seemingly irreconcilable differences. This seems to have divided the Canadian podiatric profession since eternity. Some of the issues might be usefully explored by outsiders and the viewpoint from the US and the UK would be very relevant since the education and institutional differences within Canada might be attributed to the parallel evolution of these distinctly different influences.
