Distal tear to the plantar fascia – help please

Hi All – I need some help please. I have a 17 yo female who stood on an aluminum door frame and either that, or playing hockey the next day, has torn her plantar fascia near where it attaches into the metatarsal heads. She presents with severe pain on weight bearing and ultrasound shows a small tear.
