Many of you may be interested to know where the clinical test came from that is used to determine whether medial arch raising and subtalar joint supination occurs with hallux dorsiflexion. In 1951, Ewen A. Jack,O.B.E., Ch.M., F.R.C.S.Ed., of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Edinburgh described this test which is now known as Jack’s Test
