extreme heat in heel of left foot

Hi. I am wondering if I could find an explanation as to why I am getting the feeling of extreme heat (sometimes feels like I am standing on hot coals) on the bottom of my left foot on the heel. And as quickly as I ask that question, I should also note, that I have sensations of coolness in the same area
