Press Release: FEDERAL BUDGET IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY Quote: The Federal Government has missed out on a very real opportunity to improve the health of Australians living with diabetes. The Government has rejected a proposal by the Australasian Podiatry Council to substantially reduce the diabetes-related amputation rate by increasing Medicare-subsidised podiatry appointments. Australasian Podiatry Council President, Andrew Schox says it’s a deeply disappointing decision.
