GP tip: corny treatment for warts

Well, clearly this chap has seen the odd podiatrist on the coal face. Quote: Corny treatment for warts 16th Nov 2010 Edited by Dr Justin Coleman Dr Jim McDonald from Sandringham, Victoria, knows a tip or two, having been practising as a GP for 40 years. His foolproof wart treatment is:1) pare back the wart, 2) protect the skin around the wart using sleek tape, 3) place a corn pad over the wart, 4) fill the central hole with 70% salicylic acid in linseed oil or wool fat, 5) wrap the entire region in tape for a week, 6) return for a final curette.
