I suffered a harsh fall on pavement the last week in December 2012, my right ankle immediately was swollen like an orange but I don’t recall hearing or feeling anything tear exactly. I could not put any weight on it and went to the ER the next morning where they found no bone damage from an xray, put me in an air cast with crutches and told me to practice RICE
