Hi All I have been approached by a major 3rd party insurance funder of podiatric care and foot orthoses provision to provide professional opinion regarding what constitutes custom foot orthoses. Particularly they request opinion of value of using systems which claim to create custom foot orthoses derived from pressure mat data and the legitimacy of the implication that this somehow an improvement of “traditional” methods which involve capturing foot shape
