Impact Injury to dorsum of the Foot, advice?

Last Thursday, I injured my right foot during sparring training when one of my kicks ended up striking my partner’s elbow. I had used enough force in my kick to instantly realize I might be seriously hurt when the impact occured, and, I’d say, a lump the size of a golf ball was apparent on the dorsum of my foot where his elbow had made contact after only a minute or so
