Hi All I have been in discussion with another pod who is insistent that we give digital ring blocks The technique is by infiltration through the dorsum of the digit on the medial then lateral side and depositing the LA around the dorsal then plantar nerves on both sides of the digit which they term a digital “ring” block. My contention is a ring block would consist of the above ( which I term a digital block) with transverse infiltration to the top and bottom of the digit thereby completing the ring of LA
