Laciniate ligament release

Hi, I recently (6 weeks) had my laciniate ligament released. My doctor originally thought I had a nerve entrapment but when he opened my foot he noticed my problem was a tight and thickened laciniate ligament. I’ve been out of a walking boot for almost two weeks and I’m still experiencing stiffness which I would guess is normal considering it hasn’t quite been two months since my surgery
