Hi all, I, amongst the rest of the profession (I assume), recently received correspondence from Medibank Private letting me know of their proposal to stop making payments for goods and services supplied by podiatrists identified as operating outside of Medibank’s Requirements for Recognised Providers. In a nutshell, this relates quite specifically to settings, where (in the opinion of Medibank) the podiatrist is practicing in a predominantly retail environment.
