Hi all 36 year old overweight (5 foot 10, 99kg) kidneys functioning at about 45% (problem from being a baby) hypertensive – on 3 blood pressure medications – one a duiraretic (sp?) Been getting gout now on and off for about 15 years, I don’t think I have to tell people how wonderfully painful it is 🙂 Recently its been getting worse, about 8 months ago the doctor put me on allupurinol 100mg a day, with all the other medication I was taking I didnt fancy adding too it so I didnt start taking it immediatley. Anyway, since christmas my boozing has really come down and my gout attacks have started increasing..
