Almost 20 days ago, i got my left foot 5th metatarsal base fractured while stepping down from footpath as my left foot slipped over a stone causing my foot to go into inversion while sligtly planter flexed. I had severe sharp pain and a susbequent xray of foot on anteroposteior as well as lateral view confirmed the fracture. The orthopedic surgeon called it a Jones fracture, and explained the frature line to me.
