Press Release: Podiatrist suspended for misconduct Quote: Podiatrist Robert T Smyth has been suspended from the HCPC Register for 12 months for misconduct including abusing his managerial position both in relation to the NHS Trust and a junior colleague. This misconduct included borrowing sums of money from his junior colleague during work time, whilst employed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Trust in the West Dunbartonshire area. A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee heard that Mr Smyth had borrowed money, including loans of ?4000, from a junior colleague
