As part of the Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant Course, RMIT (CBD) has introduced a podiatry skill-set elective in the past year. Traditionally, this course (AHA) is aimed for public health assistance, but the podiatry component, I think is more targeted toward private practice assistance. Unlike the old training package, the new training package does not insist upon sterilisation being included in the podiatry specialisation elective group of 3.
