I broke my talus on 2/12/11. Since the talus has poor blood circulation, they put a couple screws in to make sure it healed right, and not ultimately have the bone die. The doc said he wanted to try and go through the back of my foot to put the screws/pins in, but didn’t work, so he went though the top.
