I am almost 6 weeks post bunionectomy and osteotomy of second metatarsal for crossover toe . It has been slow still on crutches wih ol ligh weight bearing on the heel and i am in a boot ! I see my doc this week i am a little concerned last night i had pain in the top of my foot in the area of the osteotomy and where pins were put in eveeytime i put the slight pressure on it i got pain then i felt a pop and the pain was better ! Not sure what that was hooe all is ok !, i was also wondering is it unreasonable to ask for pain meds for night time ! I still have swellinf and my foot just doesnt like being down so to get out and do anything it doesnt tolerate it i am chicken to ask and i shouldnt be afaid hqs anyine else felt a similar pain i described and has others still taken pain meds thos long just at night ?
