During gait ,can the forces produced by the flexor digitorum longus be enhanced by the forces produced by the flexor digitorum brevis . I believe the answer to this question is yes since when both muscles act to produce force the flexor digitorum brevis helps to keep the toe phalanges extended relative to each other
