From the Department of Health: Quote: Proposals to introduce independent prescribing for physiotherapists and podiatrists September 15, 2011 In conjunction with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), two public consultations have been launched; one concerning proposals for independent prescribing for physiotherapists and one proposal concerning independent prescribing for podiatrists. Complete the consultation for podiatrists Complete the consultation for physiotherapists Both consultations will run from 15 September to 8 December 2011.
