hi,im a mother of 2 children,and when i had my first child,he was born with his 4th toes sitting above the rest of his toes, this was later described as (FLOATING TOES which were bilateral).these toes are no longer affected since he started walking,but his toe nails are set growing sidewards,which is causing problems,as they are cutting into the 3rd toes. it was only after seeing the doctor when we noticed that my partners 4th toes were what are known as MALLET TOES(but just slightly,so we’d never really noticed it before) but he says that they had been like that for as long as he can remember) then when our daughter was born,she also on the 4th toes has yet another toe deformity and hers are CURLY TOES.
