Sudden & Severe Pain / Passes Quickly

I have been having some very severe pains in the bottom & sides of my feet for about 2 months now off and on. The pain feels like small shooting or burning sensations in the arch of my foot or in the outside edges of my foot. It’s always one foot or the other
