Surgery for jones fracture

Hi. I fell on the street and I was diagnosed with a jones fracture about 5 weeks ago. I’m now thinking of doing surgery because I’m not healing well and I’m a mom with thank g-d three kids and I can’t wait months to heal especially cause I’m non weight bearing
