I had my entire right toe nail removed last Thursday by a provider who had never done the surgery and I had to walk her through how to do it. We ablated the nail bed with silver nitrate and removed the nail matrix so hopefully it won’t grow back but the silver nitrate was my idea. Anyway I am having significant pain in the joint of the toe, there are not signs of infection spreading to that area but I am just curious if that’s normal.
