Press Release: Paramedic suspended for inappropriate behaviour towards students Quote: Paramedic Tony Mountain has been suspended from the HCPC Register for misconduct resulting from inappropriate behavior toward his students whilst working as a training officer for the London Ambulance Service. A panel of the HCPC Conduct and Competence Committee heard that Tony Mountain shouted and swore at students under his supervision and breached confidentiality by reading out a student’s reflective diary in front of other students. Tony Mountain also exhibited inappropriate behaviour toward female students, including pinching students’ arms while they driving, pretending to burn them with cigarettes and stroking one student’s shoulder whilst saying words to the effect of “you’re mine now”.
