Textured insoles

Hello All, I have a patient who has Multiple sclerosis who is beginning to lose a bit of the feeling in her feet and is as a consequence becoming more unstable in her gait. Does anyone have any exprience of using textured/proprioceptive insoles in such cases and did you feel that they were of benefit? If so what insole did you use?The only one I can come up with is the croc insole which has dimples on it.I have toyed with the idea of putting cous-cous on a bit of leatherboard and using a very thin top-cover,but that seems awfully crude. Your input on different insoles(and dried comestibles) would be appreciated, Ian
