I’ve noticed some patients presenting with heel and metatarsal pain and a stiff plantar fascia, but not presenting with symptoms of plantar fasciitis (pain after rest, thickening of fascia, pain upon palpation etc.). Is there a common (or obscure) differential of plantar fasciitis which is associated with a stiff plantar fascia?
