I had cheilectomies on both big toes last August.I experienced none of the pain other people have described but also I have seen absolutely NO difference in the pain when walking so I presume the operation has been a failure……I am very reluctant to have fusion,which I’ve been told is the next thing available to stop the pain…Does anyone know of any alternative to fusion after an ineffective cheilectomy? Thankyou.
