Urine color and Uric acid level.

Is anybody aware if the typical light greenish yellow color of urine because of uric acid ? If I drink 3L of water divided uniformly in 16 hrs in a gape of an hour. and the color of the urine is yellowish color then does it mean that kidney is working well.
