Weber B Fracture Lateral Malleolus

diagnoses by radiologist, NP never heard of it. Was put in a ortho boot and external bone stimulator for 6 weeks with the expectation of healing…NOT! Went back for xrays, now it’s comminuted, what in the heck went wrong there?
