They will keep you updated on when take off will happen, when your seatbelt can be removed, what kind of weather you will be expecting to fly through (eg, if to expect turbulence), your estimated time of arrival, and what the weather will be like when you arrive. Also, depending on the kind of flight, (usually this stuff is only on long flights, like internationals) when the duty free trolley will come around and what movie or t.v show will be playing
