my big toes have a “crevice” down the middle “knuckle” just before the nail. The outer edges of it is thick dead skin and the middle is fresh, pink skin. The toe nails also have a crack down the middle (both toe and toe nail cracks are parallel) that doesn’t hurt and has no blood or discoloration
