quick presentation: elite athlete male 42 yo reported being in good general health – competing Boston marathon next month seeking opinion re left foot dorso-lateral pain (DLFP) VAS (visual analogue pain scale range 0-10) VAS 5: moderate pain to severe pain which interferes with tasks and occasionally concentration. Occupation is sedentary, mostly non weight bearing at work Has trained past seven weeks + day on day off 1 hour 8.3 miles approx 1hr outdoors street. At this speed he reported heel/toe gait.
