I sustained a stress fracture below the head of the fifth met (ER said sprain) that my orthopedic saw on the Xray. It was healing well in the walking boot/( ace bandage and sneaker as tolerated) until, overnight, the OTHER! foot began to hurt to the point of inability to bear weight on the outside of my foot. I found out that I have stress fractures at the proximal (opposite end of small toe) end of both feet
