jones fracture

I twisted my foot on Sept 5 and was told I broke my 5th metatarsal -ie Jones fracture. My foot dr has had me in a soft cast. Each week I return, they unwrap it, have had an x-ray and it is rewrapped (soft boot)-no weight bearing and says it is healing.
