New inserts uncomfortable

Hi, I’m new here. I recently got diagnosed with flat feet (somehow it took my doctors 30 years to figure it out), so I got custom made orthopedic inserts. I wore them for the first time yesterday and they were a little uncomfortable on my arch- just feels hard and intrusive, and a little painful, like it doesn’t belong there
