There are hundreds of threads in the web started by people complaining about how many years they have been tortured by the excruciating and incapacitating pain of gout. However, most of them end up with few answers and without the person ever solving his problem. Gout is the easiest and cheapest disease to prevent and to treat, so anybody who is being tortured by gout in the 21st century is a victim of his ignorance or negligence.
