A hard cover book fell on my foot at work about 6 months ago( chest height, down to foot) , I did not think much of it and never reported it, because I needed my new job, due to financial problems to feed the family… anyways, there was a lump on top of left foot, and to this day it is still there and hurts , I don’t know what it is and what is killing me is the fact the innocent me stated the truth at the ER about how it happened ( at work) a few weeks after the incident happened and they did both an xray and cat scan and nothing showed up, doctor said ” oh it looks like a contusion, go see a podiatrist” , WEll they sent me a major bill, a couple of days ago , and I was about to have a heart attack, a couple of thousand dollars and I have not seen the Podiatrist yet, thinking it was going to go away, I mean it does not hurt as bad as before but is still tender and sore with a lump on top of left foot.
