Post-op shoe prescribed for stress fracture

Hello – I was diagnosed with a small stress fracture of the third metatarsal, and my doctor prescribed a stiff-soled (“post-op”) shoe rather than a walking boot. I was told I could walk as long as I was wearing the special shoe, but obviously not to overdo it. No weight bearing exercises/cardio, but swimming is allowed
