I just had an ingrown toenail surgery done, where the podiatrist cut out the side of the nail all the way down to the root and put chemicals in to kill the nail bed so that it wouldn’t regrow and become ingrown again. I waited two or so weeks and did everything the doctor said to do (soak it in epsom salts and later put betadine on it), but for some reason my toe near the nailbed is a little sore.
